SPIE2023 REMOTE SENSING SYMPOSIUM HOSTS THE S34I PROJECT

The university of Porto has participated in SPIE2023 remote sensing symposium held in Amsterdam on September 5th. SPIE Remote Sensing is the leading international conference for researchers, engineers and scientists involved in the latest developments in all aspects of earth observation, next generation satellites, atmospheric propagation, and imaging analytics.

Our Coordinator Ana Cláudia Teodoro was representing the project and Joana Cardoso-Fernandes put into the table some preliminary results of Copernicus Sentinel 1 and Sentinel 2 data in Aramo and Rias Baixas in a chair session.

S34I is investigating new data-driven methods to analyze Earth Observation (EO) data, supporting systematic mineral exploration (and other) activities to increase European autonomy regarding CRM resources.
