S34I project consortia and representatives of the Advisory Board met the 27th of October in Finland to discuss the project progress and the challenges we are facing.

Work packages’ leaders presented the results of preliminary works and pilot sites field trips underscored that our project has a solid progress.
Nevertheless, some difficulties were addressed, such as those related to the climate, since adverse weather conditions have been decisive in some observation spots.

It has been a fantastic opportunity for the consortium to meet in person and share their vision and objectives for the project.

The Advisory Board have congratulated the hard work and encouraged partners to keep the good track.

The General Assembly was a fruitful project meeting hosted in the splendid facilities of Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) in Espoo.

GTK team deserves a special mention for the excellent organization and warm welcome in Finland. Despite the cold!
